                                                                            INGREDIENTS
                                                                            • ½ cup Moong Dal
                                                                            • 7 cups water
                                                                            • 2 pinches Shiba's Turmeric
                                                                            • 1½ tsp salt
                                                                            • 1 to 1½ tsp chopped ginger
                                                                            • 1 tsp Shiba's Popping Seeds
                                                                            • 1 tsp chopped garlic
                                                                            • ½ cup chopped cilantro
                                                                            • 2 tbsp clarified butter
                                                                            • ½ (or less) tsp Shiba's Sweet Spice
                                                                            DIRECTIONS:
                                                                            Wash dal & soak it in water for half hour. Add more water if desired and put on stove to cook. Add salt and turmeric Leave on high temperature till fully boiled and bubbled (do not put lid on pot). Then put on low heat and cover it with lid. After it turns thick and cooked, take out another small pan. Warm butter enough to pop Shiba’s Popping Seeds. Add ginger, garlic, cilantro and Shiba's Sweet Spice. Pour into the dal (lentil).
