Shiba's Mung Rice (Jaulo)

Recipe: Wash premium quality basmati rice and mung beans thoroughly and soak in 6 cups water for ½ hour. Heat well 1/8 cup Shiba’s Ghee (clarified Butter) and brown Shiba’s Popping Seeds (supplied) in a shallow pot. Add finely chopped 1½ Tbs. ginger and golden brown it. Add in the pot Shiba’s Turmeric (supplied), soaked rice/mung beans with water, salt and 1 bunch leaf spinach. Bring to a boiling point, reduce heat to medium and cover, cook all the way till all gets soft and creamy. Stir occasionally. Add 1/8 cup Shiba’s Ghee, serve hot. Cooking time 25 mins. Serve 5/6.
